I will be returning to Peterborough, New Hampshire, in the beautiful Monadnock Valley, the neighboring town to my alma mater, Keene State College, for an afternoon of cherished choral works. I will be joining the Monadnock Chorus, led by Sandra Howard, as a featured soloist in the following works:
Regina coeli, KV276 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Five Mystical Songs Ralph Vaughan Williams
Liebeslieder Waltzer, Op. 52 Johannes Brahms
Sacred Place, Alex Berko
I couldn’t be happier to be back home joining this beloved group, formerly led by my late mentor, Carroll Lehman, and now led by one of the guiding lights that got me on the path of becoming a vocalist, Dr. Sandra Howard.
Peterborough, NH is a charming town nestled in the Monadnock Valley, and was one of the inspirations for Grover’s Corners, NH from Thornton Wilder’s Our Town. Filled with fun shops, restaurants, and idyllic views, I can think of no better place to bring your Mother, Mother-in-law, spouse this Mother’s Day weekend.
